I'm sick as a dog. no really, I'm ill with my eternal cold :/ Also, I have to work 10 days in a row. In a far away place. so I rented a car. I left the house today at 8am, was in the car, an Opel (you'd call it Vauxhall?) Corsa. nice car btw. Tiptronic gears and all, very Shumacher ;) anyway, I was feeling very low, coughing and sneezing, not pleased with the prospect of driving 150km to work, and I sneezed a really big sneeze. A snot explosion sneeze. Then the steering wheel jerked in my hands cos I'd managed to clip the right front alloy on a protrudnig bit of sidewalk. fuck. it's a new rental too, 800km on the counter :/

BAH BLOODY EVERLASTING COLD :(

Lol you cabbage.

Corsa's are god awful cars as well.

Doubt they will charge you for the curbing, they probably won't even notice.

/me considers giving Teedles a warning for saying they are nice cars

Check the spare wheel, with luck it will be another alloy. If so, swap it :)

BTW Corsas are shit. And Schumacher doesn't change gears, F1 cars have fully automatic gearboxes now :D

can't. I've given it back already. they didn't say a word on the patch on the alloy, which doesn't mean anything ofc.

btw they're giving me a proper car on thursday. some kind of volvo. s60? I'll letcha know :)

got the new rental today. it's a Volvo XC90, with a massive diesel and reasonably smooth and silent motah it is too. I'm inclined to think it's the best car, quality wise, I've ever drove. It's packed with just about everything there is to wish for in a car imo. only downside I can think of is that it is huge. I hazard it's about a foot longer than the Hyundai Tuscon I had a few months ago, and it's a beast to reverse park, even with the parking aide that directionally beeps at you if you're about to clip something.

My last rental car was one of those, I quite liked it and they do at least 107mph(it is the one I was caught speeding in).

heh I'll try to be speed aware, but it's hard. there's a large number of horses and it's a reasonably quiet car to boot. press the go paddle and it goes though. holy hell :)
