Ok, my office is like a sauna at the moment. The partners at my firm wont give me air con, instead have given me a poxy fan. Is there are a law stating that if the temperature in your office hits a certain level you dont have to work? Ive tried searching the t'internet, but cant find anything.

There is a legal minimum temperature in office conditions (16 degrees C), but no maximum (in the UK).

Apparently they have a limit in China but none of the office thermometers ever go over it...

Well the last firm I worked at let you wear shorts in your office, you had to put your pants back on if you went downstairs to see a client. This firm wont even let you have your tie off in your office.

Check that out - there is no max temperature but they have to take reasonable steps to make it comfortable. :)

Like any union bloke would be even remotely interested in Marcs sweaty balls.
