im allowed to express my displeasure at being kicked from the server 8 times in one night and if you dont like it, thats your problem.

maybe you should start a thread dedicated to licking GOA's ass and telling them they are providing a great service that never goes wrong. meanwhile they havent let us know anything about what is going on, which you seem to think is perfectly acceptable, while i dont. thats my opinion, which im entitled to meanwhile you can be a doormat and wait for a scrap of information when they can be bothered to post it.

Maybe some of us don't get so worked up over a game. These things happen. Admittedly, they happen too frequently at present, but still - Goa's record for uptime is pretty good.

I'm no goa fanboi - I get frustrated when I'm mid-event/whatever and the server falls over, but I get on with doing something else. Last night, I gave up trying to get back on and played Deus Ex 2 for a while. Much better to do something else when you're annoyed with camelot than let it wind you up so far that you get this angry.

Yes, we're paying for a service, and I'll say exactly the same thing that others have in the past: If you don't like the service you're getting, vote with your feet (and your wallet) - leave. This isn't a personal attack, so don't take it that way. Too many people take it personally when someone makes this point.

I've walked away from games in the past because I wasn't happy with the service and played something else. If I decide to walk away from Camelot EU, I will, but I won't come here and complain until I'm blue in the face and then NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

i havent played Daoc for 3 months or more. I received my copy of TOA yesterday. If it doesn't get better i'll stop playing again. its not a problem, i kicked the addicition once and right now it doesnt seem worth the bother to get back into it.

thats the long and short of it. i just get wound up when people make the point that all the new mmorpgs arent out yet so GOA must be running their game perfectly, when my point is that soon there will be choice if you want a european based 3d mmorpg.

btw i amused myself by playing Super Mario Pac from www.hermitgames.com - highly amusing and addictive, i recommend it to anyone. and i gave up trying to play TOA at 10pm. and i didnt get angry about it. i got angry at whoodoo's attack on my WOW comment, but thats just cos im easy to piss off.

Thats the point tho m8, it always does fall to bits mid-event the majority of the time... relic raids cant be done, ToA is crashing everynight......

And for french people and racism and stuff.. i bet they give ALL the goodies to their own servers and keep them up, and since they speak the language they certainly have 100% ingame GM coverage and all that Case french people, with exceptions of course, is twats

thought id post to say its nice to have finally got some news about the constant crashes. sounds like they have people in the offices a little more often now as well, it wasn't that long ago that there was no one in at the weekends to restart servers and that really impressed the working people who found their weekends camelot free as a result...

ps if you have a problem with me expressing my opinion thats your problem. get over it.

You actually know nothing yet, so all this guesswork is wasted. You dont know the monthly charge, you dont know squat about the CS yet, you know diddly about the stability and lastly you know full well that problems with connections (OpenTransit) are 50% of the crashes or server problems we get.

Ill be keeping an eye on the WoW forums, lets see when it happens if the same cheese munchers are there saying the same old crap they have here...
