if you been stoned for a week one would think you be able to come up with way more then just 2 frames :drink:

I thought so too! I thought like all those dead italian painters who were hooked on some sort of drug, I'd generate some extra idea's and be creative! I saw it in some film! But I was just monged out all the time.

Somehow, I'm not sure the problem here is GOA :)

Do GOA actually reply to Right Nowed complaints of exploit? It might be the case that they receive, monitor and act as appopriate but consider that sufficient response, rather than replying back individually to players who flagged the problem.

I once had to flag a problem of seriously offensive sexual harassment from another player, including pretty self-explanatory screenshots etc, and never heard a thing back from GoA after the automated response. The guy who abused me was however suspended. Of course, it could be the case that he was suspended for something unrelated to my complaint, but I like to think otherwise.

Anyway, my point is that they could be monitoring this necro and waiting for incontravertible evidence of cheating that so far they have not managed to get. The fact that they don't update with status reports or reply to individual players doesn't mean that they aren't at least attempting to act.

Well GOA DO take actions against exploiters, some months ago I experienced the usual roof camping casters on Camlann (central building in aegir to be precise). However when I grew tired of them poking me I got up there and killed them. No more than 3 minutes later I was teleported up in the sky, plummet to death and had some GOA staff giving me a lecture for exploiting...sure I deserved being warned and punished as I exploited as much as those casters when I went up there to hit them...but me getting a warning so fast when I seen casters up there days on end without any action taken against them was somewhat annoying.

Concering reports on rightnow, the only time I have filed a report against someone I thought was exploiting I did get an answer back quite fast, (within a week at least) however they did not think what the one concerned was doing was any exploit. So I take it they do read them and answer your request as long as it's not obvious the one accused is doing something wrong so they actually have to do something against it?

Goa do read the claims about people cheating.
You are very unlikely to get a reply confirming that they do/do not cheat.
It can take some time to get enough evidence together to prove (so that innocents aren't wrongly banned/suspended) that the person was cheating.

So although you might think nothing is being done it is likely something is but Goa don't have unlimited time to follow just one person in order to try and catch them cheating and if they do suspend/ban someone they won't announce it anyway.

Well cheaters pay subscription fee aswell...

Exactly. So concluding from that assumption it would equate to the phrase somethign along the lines of:

"Cheaters always prosper"

Or

"It pays to cheat (Especially where GOA are concerned)"

the reason they take long for suspend is they wait for the next billing cycle to start for that particular persons acc :D

Cool... I might be able to solo even more if I get a radar. As there aint any risk of getting caught.

Unfortunately only some, and the ones that didnt work are allready on a good way of working around it...however since the radars now have to get their information directly from the memory it is not as undetectable as it was previously when you could have the radar on a secondary computer with access to the same network flow as the one playing (on same hub?, dont think it would work with a switch).

Though im not certain Mythic can detect the memory reading processes without breaking some privacy laws?
