Umm....I could be wrong...but wasn't the Queen Alien flushed out into space by Ripley in Aliens in her yellow Robocop outfit ? So queen dead, yeah ?

As far as i can tell from various sources they can survive in vaccum, the queen wasnt badly injured (unlike the one in AvP) so i dont see why it wouldnt survive.
Saying that it would proabably have been caught by the gravity pull of LV426 and burnt up.

The pilot was much bigger then a preditor and didnt look anything like them (unless they had trunks).
As mentioned i would have prefered them to have gone and done the storyline from the aliens comics then the way they did on alien 3.
Was another avenue they didnt follow, given the queen didnt die at the end of aliens they could have done something using her.

maybe they didn't think of a Alien-Predator crossover at that time

yeah i think i read something about the queen from aliens was picked up by a deep space explorationg vessel. guessing kinda like a better version of Ripleys 1st ship which were able to contain it and bring it back to earth.
was told this was the original storyline for the 3rd film.
afaik aliens can happily survive in a vacuum.
