Avalonian Mercenary?

The interesting post is from a guy who has tried all the available races to a high level and prefers the avalonian over the others.

Think you'll find it tough with studded though.

it's possible, it IS gimp by any definition, even more so if you don't want to use chain because of the way it looks. I don't like to tell you how to play your game, but roleplaying isn't that good when you tank worse than a scout - 2 lvls lower evade, same armor, no specced shield, lower dex...

can spec a shield as a merc

go an avalonian shield merc!

avalonian merc could be interesting
on the armour front - I'm tempted to swap my sleeves/leggings for studded because it looks better ;P

My PvP merc is shield specced- i know you can spec shield... but I didn't think he was planning to
Anyhow, the rest of it is still true =P

Go with a short avalonian, looks better than the rest IMHO... Maybe +10 str/con/dex for starting stats.
