Autotrain?

Just a quick question, if you were to autotrain till 48 then use a full respec stone, do you loose your auto train points?

No you keep all points you gained before the respec I think.

when i respecced my sb at 50 quite a while back i didnt loose any pts.... i didnt autotrain tho. i just kept whatever number stealth i could have autotrained.

"If a character ever decides to use a "/respec (skill name)" at level 20 or level 40, or if they make use of a Luminescent Exerpise Stone for a full ability respec, no training is gained or lost as a result of autotraining. When you start the respec process the computer takes your current skill level in the ability, puts that number of points back into your spec point pool, and subtracts one from your skill level. It repeats this process until your ability is at skill level 1. It then checks to see if your skill is an autotraining skill. If it is an autotraining skill, then it checks your level and purchases the necessary skill level using points from your spec point pool. If the ability was autotrained the first time around, it will then re-use those "bonus" spec points to autotrain again. If the ability was not autotrained the first time around, then it is re-using the spec points that you originally spent training the skill, and saving you some clicking as you retrain the skill to the new desired level. At this point control is returned to you and you may respec as you wish."

also, when you /level 20 your char and use your single respec on a skill that autotrains, it goes from 1 to 4 (or was it 5) without spending skillpoints

But tbh I doubt I'll go that far... 32 is my limit on autotraining I think...

Or else I have to get groups

i dun think this autotrain really works the way it should.
I did like this: did /level 20 and had put 2 points into stealth which i respeced with the free respec at 20 and got 5 in it for free.
I've now PL the char up to 42 and the stealth is still stuck at 5, broken? Or am I doing something wrong? oO

Autotrain is not supposed to work with /level'd toons.

In some grab bag it was said that /lev chars wouldnt autotrain.

basically, you need to put 1 point in each line you autotrain in, then at 48 buy a full respec and get autotrain. Still afaik it's a bug that you get free points ><
