auto level help

Hi there

I've had my bg char on lvl23 for a while, but now i wanted to get him to 24. The second he got lvl 24, i got the message that i will be granted a free new level when i see my trainer. To me that looks like i will b lvl25 the second i talk to my trainer, meaning i can no longer go to BG, and i have no way of training my lvl24 skills.

any ideas how i can train my char to 24 without getting the free level to 25? Or am i bound to stay trained at 23 as long as i want access to BG?

Don't know for sure, but I think he'll ask you if you want to cash that free level at that time, and if so, you can just press [no]

I think when you get a free level you just get auto level'd, like when you /level and right click the trainer.

Sadly true - just got my Ranger ready - got 24 and free lvl at same time, I have received this on another char, as soon as I clicked my trainer got free lvl, no option to refuse or defer it

Have not clicked trainer on Ranger yet and have sent this as a bug report to Rightnow, hopefully get something official to post here.

Goa in it's infinite wisdom didn't patch us straight to 1.72 which gives the option to opt out of that free level.
As we're going straight for 1.73 instead we'll be stuck with this situation for 2+ months.

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

No in this patch there is no way to refuse your free xp other then to not speak with your trainer untill you want to get it.

In 1.72 however an option will be added to refuse the free level.
