Austrian girl found after 8 years

A girl who was kidnapped when she was only 10 has managed to escape from her kidnapper 8 years later.

Apart from the obvious psychological trauma she's gone through, she's lost most of her formative years locked in some guys cellar

And how the hell did the guy manage to keep it a secret for so long ?

crikey 8 years! thats a hell of a lot of time to lose anyway but to lose it under such horrible conditions and who knows what else. :/

Horrible story. Im just hoping she can get on with a normal life now she is back with her family.

No doubt there will be mental scars for life and she may be mentally younger than a normal 18 year old but atleast she is back with her family.

Its just a shame the coward who kidnapped her took his own life. He deserved to rot in jail for life sharing a 2x2 cell with a single bed and a big 6ft black cell mate called leroy.

I agree! He took the easy way out by killing himself.

That poor girl must be in quite a bad mental state. Hopefully she can have a normal life eventully. I dread to think of the mental problems she is going to have.
