Austria and cocktail sauce

I am on my first time in austria and it seems that they have to put cocktail sauce with most of their food.

IS this just where i am or is it some national fascination.

Anyone shed light on this ?

Mayonaise with Nando's Extra Hot (or Extra Extra Hot) Piri Piri sauce is excellent on salad rolls, sarnies or in a wrap.

Not a fan of Mayo with brown sauce or ketchup though.
