It is possible to tweak a bit more utility out of your crafted items however it involves dropping your con slightly by changing the 28 con gem to 25 con. As you are lowish on hitpoints anyway its probably just as good sticking to your current design. Any improvements are always going to be minor though. Not a bad template anyway :clap:

Overall a nice template. However I fail to see why you are using Cetus cloak. It got very low utility. Also why use Immolated Ring? Its goddamn expensive + somewhat low utility for your purposes.

- 4 acuity wont make a difference in your template
- Seems you dont care about energy (neither do I in my template), so why immo ring with 7% energy?
- overcapped acuity in template.

Also abit low hits in your template.

I will try to look at other possibilities for exchanging the immo ring + cetus cloak abit later today, so it wont change too much in your template.

Ok I tried and tried, but your hammer with power cap instead of power pool really sets some limit. A shame you didnt get that hammer of duacts.

This template has 8% less power, still 47 is very nice. I run with 49% myself and I find it more than enough. Imo you are sacrifizing too much resists/hits to get those last PP.

I took out that power helmet and exchanged with a crafted to get better stats/resists.
Had to keep in your Cetus cloak since I needed either cloak/ring/bracer with high power + utility.
I changed your resist bracer + dex cap immo ring with band of shadows + darkspire dex cap bracer. You get alot more utility out of this combo imo.
I think there is a few DS dex rings on CM last time I checked for not too crazy a sum.

Imo you should just go with this template until Darkness Rising which brings in a very nice champion weapon for healers. 1h hammer with nice stats + a 50% power charge. So dont you go spend some crazy amount on cash on a rog hammer that will be somewhat useles soon.
In my new template for DS im going for 40+ power capped dex and phoebus harp + winged helmet for the style reduction.

My 2 cents.....


Sash for healer -> useless, just another waste of artifact timers (my other artis are much more immportant)
+skill for a aug healer -> useless
(variance on baselines stop at 32 mending, +pac = fubar, +aug is ok, but due to relative high RR its not needed, with some +buff% items u cap out on most bases)

With those things in mind, i made this auger template. Yes auger temp with +range not caped. Im a healer-healer, not cc-healer ;) Its also the most efficient template ive been able to make - not many stats are "overcaped" most are "on the spot" ;)

Yes belt of Moirai is a pain in the ass, but doable with a FG (droped for me on 2nd attempt....muhahah :D )

out of interest.... are you retarded ?

sash isn't used on healers for its charge(as its a grp heal not power regen), 10% chance not to use power when casting a spell.. (as well as the other bonus')also do you not think range is slightly important for healing ? or do u like to stand in middle of fights MoC SHing

and in regards to the template imo id try to get more spirit resists, theurgs r gonna have fun with u (AND ME AHEHEHEHE SMITEH)

Boy what a joker or what a funny funny guy. Ill never forget your post Prudil :) Shocked to see you have a rr10 healer. You most have been playing before TOA. Running with a template with that low PP + no sash most be rly QQ. And stats on your template aint really that great either.

Im sure noone go for +skills on healer by priority, but rather go for stats they need. If an item has good utility besides +all magic skills you saying ppl shouldnt use them?

Imo 18% spirit is ok.You can sacrifize some hits in my template for more spirit if you'd like.

Yes the Arcane Siphon is nice, but I've managed to survive mana-wise without it....thefore removed from temp. Yes Sash has +range, but not 1st priority for me as aug speced healer.

I seem to be doing perfectly fine with 36% powerpool. And I dont have a power problem in 95%+ of the fights. Im not a SH spammer and waste power like many do... And I love having caped resists - tho I am willing to discuss the need for it in todays senario, healers dont seem to be primary target ;)

Im not saying just because the item has +magic skills on it people should avoid it - hey other stats on an item can make it desirable ofc.

Anyway, the whole point with my post was not having to defend it, but showing it as an alternative. Its my temp, I like it but im not saying its the answer to all temps out there.

nah its bug in template maker, its actually bout 45 power cap, i should prolly alter that on the config report :s

How he plays his healer, and the template that he uses is for him to decide based around the group he runs with. Just because what he decides to do doesnt conform with your ever so deluded view of whats acceptable doesnt mean that its wrong. You are the naive one if you think that in fg fights 10% extra power pool makes even the slightest differance. If it has to, your going to loose.

lol are you stupid ? how he plays his healer has nothing to do with it. and tbh jacinas is irrelivent its the principle (and fyi i dont use it either but not for same reason). he thinks it sux because the cahrge is another one to use in fights... but why would u want to use the charge in fight as a healer as its not the power regen.. also fyi its not 10% power pool on jacinas its a 10% chance not to use power when casting a spell... so for example if your rezzing someone, which costs 50% power thats a rather nice spell not to have to use power for. wouldn't u agree?

I absolutely see your points but found em "expendable", I made a personal desistion writing Sash out of my tempplate and havent regretted it yet. Same goes with my power pool - Im comfertable with how it is atm. If u get 2-shoted due to gimp resists, then all that +powerpool is futile after getting a PR or EggRez. Having good resists also makes it a bit safer waiting for BG to "land" ;)

My grp havent been QQing at me for not healing em....so I must be doing pretty ok so far.

36vs50 PP = ~one spec heal extra
Yes the gain from MCL/PF is also modified with the %powpool

With gimped resists and the increased use of LG weapons in midle of fights (specially after an EggRez) beiing a dead healer aint of much use tbh.
Adding EB3 to this would make it quite something, sure. But I feel I dont need it....thus I dont have it.

pretty sure siphon works on any spell, even those that don't cost power (atleast it gives the siphon message)

How he plays his healer is a massive factor as to if he needs 36% or 50% power pool. Also are you stupid? that 10% has a chance to land on any casted spell, be it a baseline stun or a grey lul no way in hell is it a 10% less power useage over the course of a fight. The only way it would ever be is if all you ever did was stand and spread heal. Any group with a modicum of skill would rape your group sideways if you relied on the 1 spell 50% power pool or not. If you dont have the common sense to see this i cant wait to engage your group and claim the free rp's that you would give.

An interrupted/dead healer with 75% PowerPool = useless
A healer doing his job un-interrupted and "out of the way" with 36% PowerPool = usefull

PlayStyle >> Tactics >> Resists >> Powerpool (imo) ;)

First of all let me add. Noone is judging Prudils abilities and skills on his healer. I just assumed (and my assumption was right) that he must have made most of his RealmPoints before Trials of Atlantis.

I made somewhere inbetween 2-3 mil rps on my Healer since TOA have landed only playing in fg prime hours fighting other fgs. When I play against random grps I hardly cast a spell, but when you meet a good group my extra power comes in very handy. And as you said, power recharges like MCL gives more power the more PP you have in template.
However I'd agree 49% is overkill in most cases, could settle for lower aslong as I have Jacina's Sash for the 10% chance not to use power.

As you said yourself you have only been playing 1-2 month of toa (which probably includes pve/toaing your healer), so it is limited how many fights you can have anticiapated in + maybe things are different on Prydwen. Only heard that Maelstrom is dominating server and dno if theres any good groups out there to fight.

Kev: I fail to see why you joined this discussion. The discussion isnt about witheither Prudil is a n00b healer or not. But more a discussion witheither Jacina's Sash is needed in a good healer template or not.
For a side note you should really stop acting like a politician picking out parts of sentences that you can quote, so the quote itself looses its real value.

When it all comes down to one thing its really priorities. You cant have everything in a healer template so you have to prioritate what you find important considering current rvr situation, the grp you run in etc.
