Audio Books?

I havn't got very good concentration for reading, i'll think of something and i'll be destracted.

I'm looking for audio books, are there many about? Like, Lord of the Rings 1,2,3,4 etc that i can DL and listen to on my phone or my laptop? It sounds quite interesting and i'd be able to read without reading!

Have a look about here for idea's. There are various ways of breaking them down, as they all come on cd's now. If you need a stockist, then Waterstones is your best bet. WHSmith used to stock them a while ago, but don't remember seeing any recently.

Used to buy the CDs and mess about burning em, but it's pain when each book is like 12CDs. Been using Audible to dl the MP3s direct and it's great, pretty decent range too, check em out:

If ur a cheapo, also consider keepign an eye out for when they local library sales are. They have em annually and generally sell-off alot of the audiobooks for nothing.

Usually listen to an audiobook instead of re-reading fav's.
It works as an awesome space-out thing when grinding in MMO's

dude go to your library, at the main one here in bmth they have books dl'd on mp3 players and you just borrow the whole thing and listen to them, they also have books on tape and cd but this being a nerdy site thought the mp3 thing would impress you
