Not having a go at you etc.

If you have a problem ingame that needs to be sorted asap then use rightnow, with subject of : URGENT!!!

Usually they respond a LOT quicker.

Thanks :)

And I don't work weekends.
I'm often around anyway but I have a real life too, and it's nice not to be in the office from time to time.

No-one from Goa works weekends (by which I mean Server GMs, translation, billing support, marketing or the other admin departments.
The servers are watched out of hours by remote server techs at the server farm where they are situated, and if there's an emergency (major server crash etc) then certain staff are notified immediately.
Certain of us are often available at weekends but we aren't paid to be.

ofc, it's allways nice to say please, but it's rather them who should say we're sorry than us saying please when the game we pay for isn't working

Not really... at a personal level it isn't the GM's who caused the problem, so you should still treat them with the basic common courtesies. If I call my bank because they double billed me interest, would I say to the helpdesk operator 'fix it now' or would I say 'please can you sort it out'?

I know which I would use to get the required results...

I agree with u on both things. its true that GMs did not cause the problem, and that a nice word allways helps and is not that difficult to say :).

In the other hand its not only u that might have a problem, but maybe a lot of ppl involved in a raid. We pay for a 24 hrs of a game that must be 100% running. They dont give us a discount or something when lag is 5-6 secs for example, so we are in our perfect right to deman a PERFECT service from GOA (and notice that i say GOA as a company, not a single employee which i am sure they do their best to solve the problems they might face); if they need to get a GM or 2 for weekends, its their own problem, not ours.
Understand u can not say to 40 presons who have been playing 6 hours (for example) in a ML raid, that they do not get the final credit as the mob is bugged, cause none from GOA works in the weekend, that dont sound like a good service to me.

Be nice :)

Im with you on that as I said it's allways nice to say please. GM's represent the game company so they have to take the punches when the company make flaws, it works like that on all companies.

And if you said "fix it now" to your helpdesk operator I do think he still would fix it even tho he might think you were an unpolite bastard.

I don't say it's wrong to be nice and friendly cuz' it's allways good, but I don't think it's necessary..

Never meant to be inpolite or get things to go this far :) I can very well understand that GoA GM's have weekends off and try and have a social life just like everyone else :) The large scale ML raids are however always (afaik?) always in the evening or in the weekend and so far you've been quite helpfull when there's been trouble Requiel. My apologies for sounding inpolite in my original thread, I do appreciate your help :)
