So they are out, and it's a stunning card!
a few reviews here, more will come later I think:
Palit Radeon HD 4870 X2 2GB Video Card Review - Hardware Canucks
AnandTech: AMD's Radeon HD 4870 X2 - Testing the Multi-GPU Waters
AMD's Radeon HD 4870 X2: R700 First-Look : Two Times The Compute Power - Tom's Hardware
ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 Review - 3D Graphics, Audio & HDTV by ExtremeTech
And the price seems to be in the range of £320-360 depending on if you get the GDDR3 or GDDR5 version.
I suspect nVidia will start sweating even more than they are now, especially considering the first modified HD4850/4870 cards will start pop up next month.
