Asylum seekers from the US!

Anyone else see this in the Metro yesterday? It seems we actually have guys from the states claiming asylum here because they think they'll have a better life here with free rent/healthcare and £35 a week plus whatever they can earn...

Apparently even completely bogus asylum claims can take up to 5 years to go through the appeals system (funded by legal aid)!!!
