I had a very quick go at The Gadget Show live, looked a cracking bit of kit, especially with the keydock and the extra battery life it gives.

I've been having a play around for a day now and it certainly is an impressive piece of kit. I've spent the afternoon moving my contacts/calendar from the phone based account to the google one as this will enable me to sync up everything between my phone and pad without any hassle.

Speed is generally good, there is the odd glitch such as the volume control sometimes failing and text input seems a little bit slow but most of these issues will be solved via updates.

The other thing slightly lacking is accessories at the present time but quite a few are due out, personally want to acquire a Desktop Dock so the pad can sit besides my monitor.

Input text slowness seems limited to these type of boxes you find on forums.

Weight wise, you can hold it in one hand but you couldn't do it endlessly, at least most people couldn't.

Honeycomb is still pretty buggy and not at full speed yet, I am sure your experience will only improve as updates come out.

My brother bought an iPad 2 yesterday, of course I gave him a real hard time for such a silly purchase. Especially considering the fucked up price.

Oh without question these issues are going to be fixed, I suspect quite a few will go with 3.1 and the lack of Android 3 software will also improve.

Definately, a big Android push on tablets is coming, marketshare will soar and the tablet specific apps will follow. This time next year they are going to be amazing, the new nvidia tablet gpu due later this year has an insane amount of horsepower for a mobile device. Onwards and upwards!

Been playing with mine for a week, seems a good tablet. The dock is handy as well.

The only real issue i have is the short (proprietary) power lead.
