Now lets get this straight!!!

Assassins do not run around in fecking stealth groups. If you do you are not playing the right class for you - full stop. Whine? - yeah fecking too right.

ASSASSIN = SOLO KILLER - PRACTICALLY A DICTIONARY DESCRIPTION OF THE POXY THING!

Being jumped by 4 bloody ns at level 45 is no bloody joke.

I have never ganked or anything else - completely and utterly solo all the way to poxy 45 (buffbot excluded). Why? - cos i am playing an assassin class. If i wanted to play a group class then i would roll another type. Fuck sake.

Anaxa - Luri NS - well played - killed me 2x along with buffbot with consumate ease - a real professional killer - great.

Fecking stealth groups - christ!!

Been whined about alot and I do agree with u totally, however, its not gunna change anything. If anything its only gunna get worse.... at least till ToA.

I play as a stealther and always have played as a stealther. Dropped a chum of yours earlier today infact - Blight - Eldritch RR4. Some nice rps off that one for sure.

'Wot don't kill me makes me stronger' - hehe - well in this case i think that could well be true (cept they killed me sobs - hehe - yeah but release solves that one!). Kill me in a group and piss me off and i will look for that person to pay back the complement - and i gotta long memory! Not sure i ever left such a complement unpaid too. Kill me solo and you become a friend.

Edit: ee gads i detect my alter ego - shows after a few drinks - complete utter maniac - sheesh - you all got one of these?

as much as i get annoyed by 3fg stealthers in one place
this game is about grouping, the whole point of it is too grp, to compete with a normal fg stealthers need to be in fgs, etc etc

Today: see a few albs at amg Emain, tanks charge up the stairs.
Tanks getting suddenly a ton damag and some die. /g FFS is here full stealthers.
Now we where lucky a fg AD with pbae came and helped us, because is was far more then a fg stealthers camping there.

Yesterday: big figth zerg vs zerg figth at alb amg side. I run-heal-run-.. At one point I heal, and get PAed by 5 inf's at the same time :(

And most figths not far from amg we get stealther adds.


For those that are wonderering what the difference is between a normal and a stealth group.

Stealthgroups mostly hide behind normal groups. So it is realy sucky when you attack a fg and suddenly all suport dies by people who where invisible.

Grouping as stealthers?

All i can say is to do so will make Mythic nerf the bejesus out of us. An assassin is by definition a deadly solo opponent - capable of taking out anyone fast. This is wot they are for. If you group such creatures together you are overdoing things to such a degree that it becomes rediculous. Who or wot can stand upto a full group of stealthers? I should think a group of top notch infs could wipe out 2-3 groups of other sorts quite easily.

Just because infs have major advantages compared to other stealthers does not stop the best players from creating them - far from it!

Anyways i am gonna continue to solo all the way to 50 and then some. Get ganked by groups of infs etc and take it as all part of the game - not all stealthers group!

Have calmed down some now - cept i was really shocked and pissed off after being ganked by 4ns in such a manner - oh well!

stealther whine threads are always fun to read :) Bad part is, no solo stealther has attacked me for the last 2 patches :(

FYI Solo unbuffed infis are not overpowered - FACT

Buffed Solo INfis are... grouped even worse.

Personally I think if it were possible to prevent infi's from getting buffs I would sanction it.

Buffbots are killing the game , not infi zerges, but since duel accounts is making double cash, they will continue to nerf classes that are too Uber with a buffbot.

First to be nerfed is the infi with prolly DF - yes DF with BB damage is unfair.

Whats gonna be next?? Ooh sorry but a buffed necro with new patch gonna be too powerfull in RvR????

Stop whining about being zerged, solve the problem - somehow - nerf BB's

Running unbuffed and solo rocks - super sense of achievement.

But then I am not a retard key bashing with a BB now am I

SB's used that same argument before 1.62. and again I agree buffbots are the root of the problem but it never stopped then nerfing LA into oblivion.

Take a chill pill certi cause this isn't good for your heart :)

Anyway, it's allowed to make groups with whatever classes you want even though u might not like it.

Just pick a different route and try to avoid them. Oh and get level 50, will be harder for them to kill you then :)

Just be happy that 4 enemies shared your RP's, it's not like you would have any chance at all if you have fought only one of them anyway.

Personaly when im in a situation that death is sure i like getting hit by as many enemies as possible, to thin out RP's gained from my death.

but instead some well ment advice

1st: get 50, it helps a lot.

2nd: don't go alone in highly populated areas and if possible leech some buffs

3th: if you wanna solo rvr @ 45 best place to go are the borderkeeps of the enemie realm and pick your targets very carefully

4th: don't wajn. you cannot expect others to adjust their playstyle because you cannot fit in todays rvr

Mythic already nerfed the bejesus out of assassins with the arrival of ToA. You're living on borrowed time and you don't even know it. ;P

Every caster ingame will have access to Detect Hidden artifact and if they pick the right Masterlevel, they can even get Truesight.

Even playing a huntress, I'm looking forward to this for it is going to end those stealtherzergs once and for all.

I don't see any mention of an assassin being an individual at all. More so that they are a bunch of crazed stoners attacking people for their mars bars.

Didn't anyone ever see one of the numerous episodes of Monkey where he was attacked by a "band of assassins"? I realise that basing an argument on Monkey is at best weak, but come on, no one has ever said that assassins are meant to be played solo, so to coin a phrase QQ more.

I agree to a degree, and I'd love it to be a viable way to play the game at the moment, fact is it's far from it, without BB it's next to impossible. Full stop.

Assassin is solo?

Clint Eastwood - Charles Bronson - Bruce Lee - etc - all protraying exhalted assassins at various times in history.

One shot - one stab - one kick/punch -and disappear without trace - ninja style. That to me is the description i hold in me minds eye of an assassin type.

'Not mezz and paralyse and mezz and paralyse and mezz and paralyze - 'heal me for ffs' - 'where the fuck has he gone?'- 'stop dodging you bastard' - 'ah he popped a health potion - shit' - quick mezz him again!' Ah we finally killed him - wahaaa - we 6 man team rock. Well there was only one of him but we killed him real fast - yeah - us are good assassins for sure!'

Can't see a ninja (or Clint Eastwood for that matter) being part of such a team somehow and carrying on like that? - hehe.

PS - eh that description link you setup did infact mention solo killers a number of times. They were assassins plural - but they did their killing solo!

In my Opinion you should try to play a Shade in Odins or Emain a bit, its not fun solo if ur not high RR, atm its not possible to be really effective as a solo Assassins like ur def. says.
BTW its a MUltiplayer game and no fun to play solo all the time, grps are much better entertainment.
