ok, this is not my regular trolling, but please refrase that :eek6:

First you need to pick 1 of the 3 realms, each realm has it's own assasin.

Albion: Infiltrator - best race: Saracen
Hibernia: Nightshade - best race: Lurikeen
Midgard: Shadowblade: best race: both Norse or Kobold will do

with all chars it's pretty easy to "see" as long as you monitor is on and your eyelids are opened :p

And guilds, well they differ on each realm/server

Oh, and on topic, infiltrators are great fun, but damned hard to level up to level 50, FYI.

If you like assasins then you have a number of choices.

First of all you wanna decide which realm you wanna join. This can't be told, you have to find out for yourself. The three choices are Hibernia, Albion and Midgard.

What I do suggest is spend a day or so just messing about in the three realms, create a few different types of characters and just run about, kill stuff and get a feel for the game.

An assasin class is not recomended if this is your first character, they are very difficult to level, you won't find groups and they are very tricky to learn.

I suggest maybe trying a tank for a few levels to get a feel for melee combat. It won't be permanent and you can always go create an assasin when you feel you've mastered the basics.

The next step is to roll an assasin in your chosen realm. I believe that all three are good. Some don't.

No class is uber, just the player behind that class. A well played Nightshade can own a badly played Infiltrator, even though Nightshades are seen as weaker.

Like I say, just experiment for a day or so before leaping into the game, you'll get more out of it that way.

I would also say an assassin class would be a poor first class, at the moment, in midgard anyway, everyone seems to have a assassin alt, and as a result few people want another one in there group. As a result you will get to meet and chat with far less people than a more group orientated class would, and meeting and making friends is the main thing that keeps you wanting to play the game. Also XPing in a group is far more entertaining than soloing is.

Group friendly classes classes would include:

Healing classes, tanks, and classes that add something to the group, like Pulsing blade turn, Mezz, Power regen or similar.

Assassins unfortuanatly add so much and with so many around you will find few groups wanting another one.

A great places to find information on the classes and the abilities they have are in the links below.
