Just been doing some reading about Micro$ofts newest version of the scriptinging langauge ASP, ASP.net, just woundered if any1 else has started to look at it and what they think,

its great, with the support of the new languages it is better than java for what it can do etc

I've been working with ASP.NET for a couple of months now, and I have to say it's massive change in web programming.

Being able to easily create and use business objects, in C# (which I like btw compile the DLLs and simply upload to your webserver *without* the need to register them, is a major bonus.

The new server controls are a godsend, the DataGrid for example is incredibly useful, no more looping through table tags and recordset fields, just whack a datagrid in, and bind it's datasource to your dataset, you want sortable columns? 'sortable=true' and you're done.
