actually, you say that, but in some Eurozone countries (sweden, netherlands, and with my own eyes - london (Exhibition Road)), traffic signals are being removed and a shared scheme where the road is shared with pedestrians and vehicles has been factually shown to be safer. Much less accidents.

When i was on my advanced driving i was waiting at some traffic lights when some prick in a flatbed comes screaming past at 30mph or more and takes off my passenger wing mirror.

Caught upto him, exchanged details. Phoned his boss a few days later and then the driver went and denied any knowledge of it.

I was driving through Liverpool this afternoon and saw more bad driving in 20 minutes than I've seen in the entire month.
People running red lights, blocking junctions, tailgating, driving down bus lanes and overtaking on the inside then pulling in front.

Since we're generalising, Liverpudlians are bad drivers.

hehe I was watching tv ages ago, may have been top gear, and the bloke from goodness gracious me was on it saying how insane driving is in India, he said he was looking down the road and saw two headlights so thought a car was coming ...


the two lights kept coming and eventually turned out to be two guys on mopeds transporting a wardrobe between them hehe.

And anyone who says asians can't drive is wrong, I think this is a masterful peice of driving and defy anyone to do better!
