I always think it's fun to be original so may I suggest a Troll warrior with 24 Throwing Axes and 24 Parry?

That means you can kill things from a distance and not have to move in close and get killed yourself.

The 24 Parry is good too coz that means you won't take much damage if a warden or something starts to melee you and you can run away safely.

The way it stands now Kobbie is the best choice as with buffs u can hit ur 300 cap on pretty much all stats pretty easy. with 300 str u will hit as hard a troll with 300 str BUT he may appear to do more dmg when he swings because he has 35 qui , overtime it's same and if u have capped quick u will do more than him over time ofc.

But then 1.62 comes then stats above 300 come into play so have 340 str on a troll would be of more use than it was before, none . BUT again if u want to do teh ubar dmg with ur troll warrior dont just roll a savage because a warrior is a block mastah that can do some nice dmg also. The kobbie WILL block more than the troll even when the stat raise comes in.

So u want to block more go Kobbie < also kobbies are hard to see and a lill kobbie slammed casters and 2 shotting them is funny >

If u want to be the first target on a battlefield for those debuff chant0rz :x but have the chance to do lots of frontload dmg with ragnorak and 2h sword then go Tr0ll.

Alternatively go Dwarf for size benefits, insane hp's and decent Dex (50 start) and decent Str (60 Start) as well as 5% racial body resist (most common magic damage in game i believe) AND 3% racial thrust resist to lessen your -10% thrust vulnerability wearing chain.

AND you get to pick UBER beards.

Well if the person assists with 0 quick it's fine or if there is no pbt BUT warriors can slam and use 2h so 0 quick can be good ,i would do troll though if i would go 0 quick,35 quick 2h ragnarok would hurt

i have a level 50 kobold warrior on camlann

he easily hits over 2000hps with buffs, more like 2150 i remember.

when we make 1fg tuscaran glacier raids, my little blue dood holds aggro on 2 level 70 mobs while the party kills the 3rd, he blocks 90% of hits in pve............and a good chunk in pvp/rvr...on dragon raid he blocked gjalpinuva 3 hits in a row.....shield spec 50+14(atm) + mastery of blocking (i believe in playing to your strengths)

as for damage, he 3 shotted a level 50 SB, slam, havoc, havoc.

so to recap kobolds are
smaller silhouette in rvr (obvious benefit)
they can and do have huge HP pools
they can and do very respectable damage

and finally i use a tuscaran glacier shield, which is large but looks round and small, the same effect could be achieved by using a small shield for quicker slams, less endu......................but its the greatest trick in my book.........all tanks home on me as soon as i charge the enemy grp becos they think i am a shaman (kobold,small shield)



and while they are hitting me, my healers and casters are fine, and nuking, healing.

kobold warrior is ACE, and i speak from experience, not hypothesis.
