My paranoia about them being extremly biased and giving french it for one day, germans for a weekend, and us it for a few hours full of bugs.

Kinda unfair that they give it germans for a weekend, and dont give me none of that "there are more germans" bs. Still only 1 server of germans gets to test it, correct me if iam wrong?

Imo we english-server gamers should get same patches as the US guys, there are some minor server differences and a few language differences, like colour/color for instance.

Quite frustrating, coming home to find out that gorre was full of bugs and i couldn't test 1.54 after all :/

Well..now the german side says something completly different....namely:

Nachdem auch beim englischen Test keine weiteren Fehler zu Tage getreten sind, werden wir heute abend noch einmal die deutsche Datenbank von Avalon auf den Testserver GORRE aufspielen, um die Nachbesserungen in den Übersetzungen zu testen.

Translation: After there haven't been any bugs during the test of the english version today, we will repatch Gorre into german using the Avalon-database, in order to retest the translation.

I normally would paste a moderately witty comment about that now but I don't think that I can top THAT. NO BUGS during the test of the english version?? I dunno whether to laugh or cry over their stupidity

Thats not funny. Not even a little bit.

It shows in all its ugly splendor just what GOA thinks of it English client base. We are not the prime consumers of their product and they (rightly) think that they can treat us like dirt.

And they are right - because we are all so addicted and have invested such a large amount of time and money on the game allready that we refuse to make a stand and do what we rigthly should do - cancel accounts.

Im one of the few that appearently still thinks GOA sucks and never forgot the first 3 months of EU DAOC where everyone was screaming so loud about bad customer service that they (GOA) had to close their own forums due to bad publicity.

GOA emploee - 'ere you filthy inglais customer swine - take this very hot poker up your bum! Ha I laugh in your general direction!

Yeah.
I'm whining because they are giving us 1.55 with bits turned off, just to avoid us having a very useful and victimless bug exploit for a few weeks.
When did they ever make such an effort to correct any REAL bugs??

Completly agree i killed Olklahoma on gorre yesterday he gave me a nice sum of 952 rp 81 bp and 41 mill Exp :/ lol

English servers get patched same time and date (near enough give or takea few days) as US ones, german/frence get it done at their rate, dont see why we should suffer because goa put frence and german first

Hmm, was trying to dig up what version Italians are running, because they've their own server provider. No luck, their forums are down or something, but I've a faint recollection that they weren't far behind from US.

Anyhow, from the little of what I gathered with my ubah 1337 italian skillz, we're getting sortof shafted (and so are US players ), as it seems they can download the full client without buying it and can get a trial account. They do pay more than us for it though - 3 months for us is 27€, it's 32€ for them.
