Will Mythic ever be able to add stuff that are better then Artis, or did they paint themselves into a corner by introducing Artifacts ?

How much time would you say you put in to get the artis, lvl them etc ? (roughly in playtime)

my guess is that they will impliment uber weapons better than artifacts in there next x-pack.. most peoples artifacts are running low? on con etc and will need replacing. what better time to add new items for rvr huh?

Well it isnt as if you need an uber artifact-heavy template for sieges anyway. Hardcore sc templates are only needed if you try for fg vs fg or is a stealther imo. So, since mythic dont want fg vs fg and hate stealthers then i guess they wont introduce any way to save artifacts as it will simply not be a priority.

Artifacts & master levels makes harder to get new players ingame.
Even tho you manage to get to level50. It would be almost impossible to get artifacts you need (for that you would need friends or helluva nice guild that are willing to help r1 newbie) + ml10, since there isn't many ml raids anymore.

So I'm guessing that in the future people will get better gear and abilities than ToA. At least if Mythic wants any new players.

Imo Mythic slowly realised that TOA was a time shink and that they were losing customers. Therefore as I see it, they are currently nerfing ToA step by step. Etc., masterlevels has gotten easier, arti lvling is easier, they are nerfing some of the MAs.

Amount of ML raids going atm, is still very high, just check the different sections on FH alone, not to mention things ingame.

Depending on the class there is only so much utility you could possibly need or want in about 2-3 artifacts, in fact it gets harder to SC around 3+ and the extra utility of artifacts starts to be outweighed by the lack of resists etc.

Trouble is I think people tend to go "articrazy" getting as much as they can on one char, then finding they can only use a few of them in a template, it's good that the time spent on xping them (and 1.74 drop rates improved but spawn times lengthened on some artis) is reduced.

Unless you have cash pouring from every orifice, scroll farming is often the bigger consumer of your time.

However, people dont use the artis for their temp

Eg, for my temp i have. SoM, Malice, CB, GoV and Scalers.

However, i also have

BoS (for lvl 10 charge)
Battler (for lvl 10 charge)
Spear of kings (for lvl 10 charge)
Winged Helm (for lvl 10 charge)

btw, does Winged Helm lvl 10 charge stack with SoM proc?

It should stack with som proc. But it's more usefull to use som for 10mins,WH for 5min,then again som for10 etc.

Depeding of your luck and arti's you want, it could take from 2weeks-2moths. SOM or GOV or etc may be a bugger, but if you stick "easy" arti's like harpy cloak & Winged helm you should get em within a week.

u naabs rally dont get it uh??

some of u are TOTALY toa'ed..
but mythics idea was that u wear like 2 artis at a time orsomething..
so u need to built new templates everytime a artifact runs low..

(btw dont use arties pv mobs)

They already did...loadsa weaps that do equal / better job than battler+malice these days :p

myself and another friar got down fairly far last night ( god know's how as i was drunk) but nothing much dropped of vaule tbh ... which reminds me .. i forgot to spilt the l00t with them :eek:

they dont want new players, cause that mean more work for them, and then they dont have time to play wow :D

Why did they invent: Steep-walls
While you still can "Climb" them (ok. not the normal way)

why do they never invent stuff, Properly? :)
