They should remove the encounter for artifacts imo :eek7: because of the encounter you get lamerzz camp all ze artie's :p (and I'm no exception :p)

The economy needs a big change anyway. The prices people charge are ridiculous, and will only get worse. It's a spiral effect - you have to pay over the top for an item so you overprice everything on your cm etc etc

It hasn't really helped with the market being flushed with cash due to the 'missing item' issues, but what do you expect with a solution like that.

In an ideal environment people would (shock horror) help each other to get artifacts etc, which would reduce the economy issues and take some people back to an old game view of Realm vs Realm - Teams vs Teams, not individuals/groups vs the world.

Help your neighbour, don't steal his parking space....

Artifacts should of been done as instances.

Make them insanely hard so you have to work for them if need be, but that way you remove the camping crap.

I agree with Artie's as an instance, but don't make them extreamly hard, just make em the same, so the only thing you'll change by it, is that it's always up ;p

Didnt this get discussed just a few days ago? my thoughts:

1. Artifacts only drop once per character and only if that person can use it. If nobody in the group can use the artifact or they all have it already no loot at all will drop from the mob.

2. If it's done in a BG or in a group all members of that group/BG recieve the item directly into thier inventory. All artifacts cannot be traded, sold or dropped. however they can be stored in character vaults or deleted.

Wouldnt work at all. Unfortunately.

For example: Not many clerics get GoV but they can use it.

Clerics could therfore farm it to sell.

Once per charectar ? if something went wrong and you lost it, youd be screwed. :\

nice idea, but it wouldnt work.

How can you farm and sell something that can't be traded?

Might it happen you loose it it's your own fault or if it's Goa/Mythics fault they could replace it.

A Character can be pl'd to 50 in what 2 days? What would stop the campers from just lvling a new character up when they sell all the Arti's?

They seem to camp all day, adding a little lvling for them wouldnt hurt them that much but would prob raise price as there probably wouldnt be enough artifacts with the drop off from farmers camping.

Personally I reckon the solution would be some where along the lines of making them quest based like Epic used to be, everyone has access. Nobody can steal your reward and anybody can do it when they wish basically. They knew this was the way to handle it as all you have to do is look at darkness rising :)

This is why they can make a new char to get the arti's again.. but they can't sell it anyway ;)

any of these solutions would kill the time sink involved with toa- degrading everyone who has already put in the hours, and also people would get to rvr faster, if they didnt enjoy it they would stop playing

toa is working as intended as a way to keep ppl playing imo
