Artifacts and Gateway (ML6 soj)

As most of us that frequent the forums know, there has been quite a fuss about SoM and rangers grabing in using the gateway. There are (at least) two more artifacts that can be grabed in the same way. Staff of Gods (which I took y'day for a friend, piece of cake to get really) and Marriasha's gloves.

Checking VoS i saw the following things:

Players will no longer be able to use the Gateway spells during the Mariasha's Sharkskin Gloves or the Staff of the God encounters if they are holding the locked artifact. Once the encounter has been completed, players holding the artifacts will be able to use the Gateway spells. (Jul 21 2004 patch 1.70m)

There is nothing relating with SoM and the Gateway spell. And that made me think that when I was leveling the ranger, something which I did the 'right' way instead of going to fins with 3 anis and fop, it took me 19 days to get to level 50. When it comes to farming we're not really that good, we can't get into artifact groups, so why shouldn't this be a way for us to get something back out of the game?

I decided that I need the cloak, the proc has proven to be a fight winner as someone in this forum has pointed out at another thread (too bored to run a search now to do a right quote) so if I find it I'm going to grab it. If there are other people camping it, I will lotto for it, I love my good reputation and I'm not going to jeopardise it I will take SoM for myself and guild 4 times only.

Why am I making this post? So I don't hear any whines later on. If you're there, we'll take it together, if not, I'm keeping it.

Seems to be _the_ way to do it. If you help out yourself, guildies etc... who could ever complaint. It's (I think) mainly the prices charged at CMs that make people go bananas.

I didn't spend time at bgs and I was doing trees all the time (low hp, nice xp bonuses)

I'm haven't been playing that much I wanted to finish-up uni (i.e. )

And I'll just never sell SoM or another arti. But I will keep the price up on scrolls
