is it possible to trade already activated artis? I remember reading in a patch that it was possible but that the arti would go back to lvl 0. I thought it was the artifact that turns artis into books guy but it doesnt seem to be.

Yea certain artifacts can be traded back. Iirc you hand said artifact to the Sage that deals with the artifact you need to change, IE: Ceremonial Bracer (con) for Ceremonial Bracer (dex) you get it back at level 0.
