Totally agree, raids are for hard artis(that needs a very opted group or lotsa ppl) like Jacinas, Bruiser, Bracer of Zo'akat and the like, not for soloable artis like Scalars, battler,SoM ect. IMO.

But hard to say what to bring, since sorc wants Jacinas, but cleric wants Bruiser ect. :)

im in for EC :) and zo but whattime is this in CET??:)

Again depends on what you mean.

If you have summertime and usually have CET then its +1 from UKtime.

its funny how people dont get this. :p

6GMT = 7BST(uksummertime) = 7CET = 8CEST(europesummertime)
so are you really CET or are you CEST?(summetime or not.)

Its hard for people to post times ppl understand when they are not even sure of their own timezone. ;)
If you have summertime its easy, you are the same number of hours away from uktime as you allways is.

Since all countries in europe (defined as countries that is a member of EU) all have summertime (since the dates when you shift between summer and wintertime is defined by EU) then that shouldnt confuse many, and i believe that only a handfull of countries across the world dont use summertime.
That makes CEST a more theoretical definition, only needed when you refere/compare to GMT.
But yes - your formula is right.

The whole problem arises (from my point of view) because britts have to be different. They need a 'clock' for winter (gmt) and a 'clock' for summer (bst), where central europe just have 1 'clock' that just gets adjusted for summertime.
So the problem isnt that ppl dont know their own timezone, but that ppl dont understand that gmt does NOT get adjusted for summertime.

NO. 7 uktime is = 19 cet. but you are prolly in CEST, then it is 20cest. ;)
Wrong again ;)
7 bst = 19 cet

uk time is the invention we on FH made to define the time in uk - kinda a 'clock' that get adjusted for summertime.

Why is it AGAIN? ;) and whats wrong with it?? at present uktime is BST, so 7 uktime is 19cet ;)

I just used UKtime because thats what raidleader posted. I prefer bst instead. :)

http://www.worldtimezone.com/daylight.htm

Most of the world's population does not observe daylight savings time changes. There are also lots of funky inconsistencies - some of Australia uses daylight savings, some does not; some US states don't observe savings, most do; parts of Canada don't, most do... :D

As you say, however, almost all of Europe observes Daylight Savings (according to the map above, the exception is Iceland - is Iceland technically part of Europe? :eek7: ).

Sorry for the offtopic - consider this a stealth bump for the raid. ;)
