Arti exp and catacombs

Ok so i just activated traitors and it xps in mainland dungeons but why isnt the instance dungeon outside DL considered a mainland dungeon ?

Probably because the XP is fixed and you get a huge chunk of it when completing your goal - heaven forbid we level those artifacts fast.

Instance xp as far as artifacts are concerned is broken into two groups.
- Walk in instances within the catacombs zones
- Instances within the mainland zones.

Catacombs instances are explicitly mentioned in the item notes of any artifact that levels within them. TOA dungeon artifacts level inside walk in instances inside the catacombs zones. I have levelled both CS and mad tales within cata instances. Also i think TOA outdoors artifacts level inside the instances of mainland instances but it could be another type of arty, Im not sure as i dont have any of them but there is defiently one type of artifacts that do.

it's a task dungeon, so doesn't count it'll level in the barrows instances.

gov is Toa Dungeons, no?

Which means it levels in instances off of the catacombs main zones (i.e. instances in the lower crypt, frontlines, the otherworld)

Yes but i think he was refering to your other artifacts. If i recall correctly none of them will.

mainland/SI dungeon artifacts level in Old world dungeon instances...
i.e. instances off of barrows/carvoda/tepoks/whatever.

ToA dungeon artifacts level in Catacombs dungeon instances...

i.e. instances off of frontlines/lower crypt/otherworld/whatever.
