LMFAO Liverpool were awful!

They will be lucky to scrape 4th this year :)

Oh and they now have the worse away record in the league haha.

I think Gerrard will go abroad in the not too distant future. I know for a fact he had all but signed for chelsea, and the U turn he did had nothing at all to do with his "love for the club".

Rofl @ Liverpool, that was an awful performance. Gerrard won't be there at the end of the season tbh :p

I remember pre-season all i heard from Liverpool fans and the media was Liverpool will be the closest challengers to Chelsea this year.

With the signings they made it was never going to happen.

I think they are building a good team but yeah you can't do it all when you change your team and players so much. I wonder how much Rafa hurts them by constantly changing where they play, it must make it hard for other players to know some one is going to be coming up the right wing when its a different player every week.

Don't get why they don't put Gerrard unto the offensive midfield or normal midfield, then switch between resting Sissoko and Alonso, both are great players, but Gerrard in a free role in front of them is much more potent.

Then they could throw a Garcia out on the right wing, think he'd be good out there.. Can't stand Gerrard being wasted away on that wing :p

The reason they did not play Gerrard and Alonso yesterday was because Benitez said Zenden had a good game :)

That i do not get you dont play your best player out of position because a squad player had a good game in the worthless cup :) But as a Arsenal fan i was glad to see Gerrard stuck out on the right. And they should start Gonzales - Alonso - Gerrard - Pennant imo :)

What game was you guys watching? liverpool matched arsenal and had the better chances until their first goal, they played shit second half but arsenal's other 2 goals were lucky. Van persie got fucking lucky with his "skill" on the second and on the third goal they seemed to give up.

Zenden and mark gonzalez both had shit games, zenden seemed to be invisible and mark gonzalez wasted so many chances.

Liverpool really didnt match as you say up to Arsenal.
They were playing pretty well for about 25 mins.

Arsenal dominated them and Liverpool atm have been playing like shite.

Liverpool missed Sisoko tbh. However, all this tinkering Benetiz does doesnt help. When he won the spanish title with Valencia, this is what he did with the squad. Chopped and changed all the time. However, Madrid and Barca were both going through a transitional period which I think contributed most to Valencia winning the title, not the rotation of his team.

as the late, great Bill Shankly said when asked what his team would be for the next game..."the same as last season"

I was watching the game where Arsenal dominated possesion bossed the midfeild and limited liverpool to 3 shots on target in 90 minutes :)

But seriouly Liverpool were out classed but i do think if they played gerrard in center midfield it would be different.

Liverpool were doing pretty well for away from home against a hot shit Gooners side for the first 40 mins from what i heard on 5 live? Tbh Liverpool always buy £6ish Million players such as Bellamy, Pennant, Zenden. Need to go for big players, you pay for what you get unless you are Newcastle :p. Kuyt has been the only real successful siging this year. I totally agree with what someone said above: rotate Alonso and Sissoko in defensive role, Gerrard at tip of diamond, Garcia right and Gonzales left imo. It works in pro evo which is what i base all my footballing theory on:p

I think Kuyt was a £12 signing :)
