Best way to get over someone is to get under someone.
Still works even though a woman told me that:)

First off, everyone saying omg you cannot stay friends with a ex is talking bollocks. Yes in most cases using Ez as an example if your partner has been an absolute arse why would you want to?

My last g/f before I met my wife we were friends for 4 years before we had a 4 year relationship. We then broke up and we are still very close friends.

No we dont go to the cinema or out for a drink by ourselves, and I do still have feelings for her in a strange way, we were each others first love and I think that means alot. But we stay in touch and we have both moved on with our lives. She will talk to my wife and I will talk to her b/f when we see/pass each other.

So yes if your partner has been a shit to you forget about it. If you parted on better terms there is no reason why you cannot stay in touch and be happy for her when she moves on.

Completely agree. With one exception I am still friends with all my ex's, the ones I had a serious relationship that is.
The only one I don't and wouldn't want anything to do with is the one who I had a shitty break up with.
My soon to be ex-husband and I have also managed to split without falling out so it is possible, it all just depends on the circumstances.

As some of you know, my relationship ended a while ago! But we managed to be friends, and she always came to me, when she needed to talk, or something she had issues with(Mostly her own family).

But well, untill today! She logged on MSN and we talked about her been gone for awhile without saying anything, suddenly she says "My life is fit now, and I don't need you anymore!" then just loggs of!(She have gotten a new BF you see).

Seriously, I feel so yeah.... helpless. I want to do something really really really bad to her, but there is nothing I can do back, that I knows will hurt her in any way!(Without actually beating the crap out of her, but I don't hit girls!). I'm so freaking frustrated, and just have to get my anger out!

I feel for you. My first love - and probably my only true love - left me with the same frustration. Why not try and talk to someone - even a psychiatrist - as the feelings are destructive and downright dangerous. I turned the anger and frustration onto myself which resulted in drinking for very long periods of time and ending up with women who I never would normally have associated with (still all nice women though and looks have nothing to do with beauty for sure) and getting into situations that were also strange to say the least. This lasted for years and years. Perhaps with me it was compounded with guilt feelings about the way I treated her - well it was. Even so you need to vent your anger and frustrations or you will either explode or implode. Take up a sport or something that will drain you maybe - hard swimming or running. Really though a visit to a 'knowledgeable' person that is sympathetic to your feelings and plight would help a great deal.
