Why not make your primary character good at making your weapon/armour?

Most people make an alt for tradeskills so they can just log it on in the right place whenever to do some, rather than having to run your main from god knows where everytime. Also useful if someone wants something made, you can just get them to go where your alt is rather than shifting your char from behind a tree in Odin.
