MP weapons are so horribly expensive I'll just use my 99%'s for now dropping pierce or CD 1 or two points. Pierce will go over 50 anyway - so it's not too much of a difference.

racial bonuses to resists are not included in the resist cap, that cap is solely on what you can get from items, so you should try increase energy and crush more

I don't like making my config dependant on an item I can only aquire from raids on mobs. It leaves me "crippled" untill I'm lucky enough to get it. No thanks - I prefer quests

there are other ways of getting those items... generally you can lotto for items with the char you bring... figure the rest out etc

Its 1 quest and you can pick 2 rings.
And the higher your + pierce is, the higher your weap skill is, decreasing the dmg varience on your styles.
Personally if I was to take my shade to 50 I would spec as follows :
34 Stealth (autotrained to lvl 48)
34 Envenom
50 Pierce
44 CS
3 CD
RR6 spec ofc
