I hope they don't pressurise this dog in the media and after this story the owner has the sense to drop it; after all according to the article the dog is now not eating properly.

But then what chance is there that someone living in a shanty town will turn down media acclaim with dog news stories (with payment I'm sure) to make a few quid. Shame that the dog might be the one that suffers.

Seen it all before. The dog gets all this media attention. It then develops booze / drug problems and ends up spending the rest of his life in rehab kennels.

aww thats lovely, i hope the dog recovers and begins eating again.

we've got a book at the moment called in the care of wolves (or something like that) its about a little girl whos family were taken by the nazis in WW2, she didnt know where they were and asked someone who merely said They'd been taken east so she goes and gets herself a compass (she was about 7 i think) and heads off to find them, anyhoo she gets lost and ends up being adopted by a wild wolf pack.

animals never fail to astound me.

There's reality and there's fantasy,i am certainly leaning towards second choice on this.
