8/8 no cheating required...

There is no guaranteed way of spotting which site has spyware and which doesn't but you can sometimes (not always) get a feel by the way the site is designed, the services they provide and if they charge for anything...

All you can do is avoid the places you suspect spyware to exist and make damn sure your protection software is updated frequently...

I used to download Screensaves back in the day, when the internet was safeish wouldnt even think about it these days.

Guilty of this, but I only use Secure clients that have been tested by other people and only download them from the origanl site.


with comment sence, Useing Firefox with (no scrits enabled, add blocker) Microsoft anti spyware and a good virus detection and i have adware run eveytime I start my PC(ok so I dont turn my PC off much) havnt had any probelms in a long time (touch wood)

The problem is people dont use commen sense, well that what you get when you let people that can harded use a phone on the internet :E

7/8 but tbh when i am looking for something on the net i tend not to think, hmm this site looks dodgy, must be spyware

thats what i said to atos aswell, that you can kinda see on a site quite often, and yes see if they charge for what they provide or not and such things =P

i was mistaken on the lyric site thou.... :(

fuckin 5/8 - they didnt provide enough info - plus I wouldnt actually use *any* of those sites in the first place with the exception of emule maybe, which I know to be safe anyway.
