People quote etc, as they fear that their own opinions from the other who are bandwagon quoting, will turn on them and start quoting themselves instead.
They have a fear of having their own opinion, which is very wrong.
Alot of people on these forums lack alot of confidence, it's not surprising, when you spend most your time behind a computer playing a game that requires the simplest of actions, pressing buttons isnt exactly hard.
My freinds have seen the game, and wonder why I pay so much for it each month, well it's todo with the community, which of late, I am already becoming annoyed with.
Look at FPS games, these games actually require skill, timing, practice, effort, intelligence, which is why they go so far as basing competitions around them.
Anyone can pick up DAoC, be un-employed, live on the doll, and spend their lives playing this game 24/7, have 10 L50's all RR10L10 if they wanted.
Not saying they would, but the possibility is there.
Its not a matter of skill or intelligence.
A matter of time.
Look at DAoC, tell me how hard it is? Compared to other games, Take alook at NWN, and compare with DAoC, both the same genre.
Younger generation, 12+ play this game, playerbase i'd say is probably around 12 - 18. Most being 12 - 14 range. How they get money to pay for DAoC from their parents is a myth to me

Stuff like calling poeple noob, is just a harmless insult imo, a term brought over from other games of different genre's which everyone builds a common rapour with.
