I have been working at Carlton Screen Advertising this week with the Production Manager, for work experience and I think that the tickets are a bit expensive, but I'm getting free Cinema tickets for working there! :)

So if you don't want to pay for the Cinema, get a job at Calrton!

(You guys didn't really need to know that, but oh well :) )

£3.75 at all times down at my local Showcase, the place is a little bit tatty these days but still great value at that price and there is a cracking kebab shop over the road. :D

Yes we pay too much, and yes Hollywood exec's are greedy fucks who will be among the first to be placed against the wall when the revolution comes.

I felt inclined to reply to this thread whilst checking some PM's.

Me and my gf can share a large popcorn, have a bottle of coke each and two cinema tickets for £10.

Tickets £3 each
Popcorn £2
Drinks £1 each

£20 etc. makes me wonder why you go! That's very insane pricing. That said, if you buy your snacks at the supermarket before you go in and hide them (some cinemas get angry if you bring your own snacks in) then you could probably save a couple of quid.

Cinema is great though and I'm happy to pay £5-7 per person for a good film and some snacks. What's more annoying is when you have people talking, laughing at every point in the movie or little children shouting and screaming. I'm very touchy like that though. I hate people ruining my experiance when I've paid for it. Even if it's whispering, it does my nut in.

Ahem. Yes. Now to sleep.

I'm kinda lucky.,,,

way too costly. even as a student using an outdaded NUS card i get charged 4.50 or so. then 3/4 of a litre of coke is 2.70. i shit you not. and after all that i still have to watch adverts.

and only today did i realise how much 17.5% actually is.

my ass fell out and i started crying :(
