I can tell you, having sold perfumes for aaaages, a lot of my regular customers are Polish. Harder to explain to them, but they end up buying a few large bottles at once. Average transaction about £150. Only a few make small purchases.
British people generally buy the smallest bottle and one at a time. Average £30. Mostly bargain hunters. Very few make big purchases.
I don't know if this only applies to fragrance/beauty retail. It'd be interesting to study but frankly I don't care enough

First of all I duno what it is with this forums, it seems that every little cock with a keyboard feels the need to 1, post here in the first place and 2, wants to rile and fight with anyone and everyone, well good job coz u picked the right person, im in a perfect mood for an internet sparring match so bring it on.

Firstly I have been to plenty of countries out side the UK, I have NOT gone their TO LIVE OUT MY LIFE and if I did you can be damn well sure id make an effort to learn the fucking language and fit in not. Even on holiday I made an effort to speak the countries native language when in bars/restaurants so please stfu,

Secondly I live in Oldbury, in the heart of Birmingham, there are roughly 5 mosques in close quarters to my house, if I did a spot of travelling were talking at least 10 within bus distance, thats not counting other buildings of worship. 10 minutes down the road is an assylum seakers refuge, filled to the brim with asylum seakers, there have been at least 5 muggings/attacks on people in that area in the last 3 months, all of which have been traced back to the refuge, 10 minutes further down the road there is an ex cons shelter that is also brimming with foreign 'workers' guess what ? plenty of attacks and crap going on down there.

Then there is the fact that I cant even go into a shop in west bromwhich without being met with 'da?' or some other foreign greeting. Im in England I expect english!

Then I have been on the council for 3 years, I have worked and paid my taxes into this country for the last 10 years, I cant get a house, flat, not even a fucking shed off the council because every available housing building in the area is full of asylum seakers or immigrant workers, I dont blame them, I blame the government, I mean they let them in they are obligated to house them, dont worry about the hard working native tax payer who is stuck living with their parents with their boyfriend who desperately craves her own place, because hey, who gives a fuck ? Im only english!

I'll continue to live under my parents roof until im 50! that will please the state no end.

if someone needs a job, if someone is living on benefit, if someone has no money; they should work what ever job is available. what youre stating there is an excuse to be a lazy tosser.
if its a matter of living off the dole or working 40 hours a week on minimum wage, who the fuck is going to CHOOSE to live on the dole? only lazy scum bags. anyone with integrity would be out there doing what ever work is available.

if im right youre saying people dont work because the wage is too low. so instead of working 40 hours a week for around £900 a month youre saying people choose to live on around £160 a month. and they choose to do it because the 900 a month is not enough. what the fucking hell are you on about, really? did you even think it through first? you do realise being paid a wage IS ALWAYS ALWAYS more money than living on benefit. therfore the only people who will choose not to work (without a valid reason) are lazy people.

Let me tell you now I have a good job and I had about the same money when I was on the dole for the simple reason I have to pay my bills and rent myself now instead of someone else paying it for me, working for your wages worked out to probably the same amount of money.

Also let me say that who the fuck is gonna get up at 5 am to go and pick up litter or what have you for some pathetic amount of money when they could just not bother and have the same cash ? I dont give a fuck about integrity, my integrity went out the window years ago when the govermnent kept fucking over the tax payer. Ive always worked because it made me feel good to earn my money, but to watch people from other countries coming here and having their cake and eating it I dont blame people for not going to work, whats the fucking point ? there are no benefits to going to work, all you do is get fucked over a bit more.
