Tyka, do you EVER have a good thing to say about anything, at all? I'm serious here, I am very curious about this. Why, when what I said had absolutly nothing at all, not even a remote jab at you, do you feel it is your responsibility to come in and make things personal. I pitty you, and that's very sad because pitty is the lowest emotion a person can feel twords another. I wonder what it is that makes you so angry and resentful twords 90% of people. I am extreamly curious about why it is you continuosly make an ass out of yourself for no obvious reason.

Lol you been in 2 realms and hate everyone there, and you wonder why i make such a post? maybe you should ask yourself where the problem really lies, i mean are you sure that everyone are pricks except you, and you are the right person to judge everyone else? Please grow up, you left alb because you were probably hated and same reason in hib, and now you got the nerve to diss everyone like that? a bit rich imo.

Kama isnt selfish lol she lead ffa raids which is something tyka never did afaik. And being in all 3 realms means atleast she can have real experience and not just be hypthetical

I left alb because I was bored with the game, same reason with hib. After being everywhere doing every quest and raiding every place possible to raid there wasn't much excitement left in it for me. Moving to a new realm makes everything new again, bringing back some of the fun of the game. I didn't say I hated everyone in the realm, I know and love a lot of albs and hibs. I was making a generalization about the realms negative sides, which is what this thread is about. I however, would not expect you to pick up on the not so subtle aspects of a thread theme.

Is'nt this funny? You been in 2 realms and you hate everyone in both those realms, and now you are in mid and i'm almost 100% sure that the result will be the same.

Good luck, i hope the mids don't judge you the same way you judge the realms you've been in, or else your visit there will be pretty lonely.

I´m one of this nice Swedes :)

I must say, we are in general very nice bunch of people
but mm some people have no manors at all but that isnt a
midgard issue or a specific server.

I as every one else have our ups and downs so and
the person who jump up and down in front of me + beg spam me on a day when Im not in the mood, can get a some minor rude answer.

first of all I cant generalize any guild like Nolby Pride or Red Guard as the bad guy as I know some nice people in that guilds too.

(one of the sides when playing the game too long you have friends all over :) )


Yea Lair is a hell hole and some dont like the place it´s get on your nerves and if it get on our nerves your not alone out there.


Hunters yeas I heard that strange attidude against Hunters
but I guess Fatbelly is a hunter so it cant be that bad ;)

well I have to work now cya in game when the snow coming back..

and Pardon for the bad English ..

Excal/mid has alot of Scandinavian ppl indeed, often when I've been playing in a exp grp for a couple of hours someone asks: "guys, where are you from?" Very often most of the grp (or all of it) turns out to be from Sweden, Denmark and Norway and that we've been talking English all along although we perfectly understand one another's languages :) The stereotype of the average excal/mid player as a Swedish/Danish/Norwegian 14 year old, simply isn't true. It's true that most ppl on excal/mid are Scandinavian but the age part is not, I'd say a vast majority of the Scandinavian population is above 20. I've got nothing to back this up with but my own experience though ;) In Norrköping (sweden) where I live there is around a dozen ppl who play excal/mid and we're all in the age span of 23-35.

I think it's a general scandiavian/DAoC thing. I met a lot of sweedish/danish when I played Alb,there's a few guilds of them (Herfølge Boldklub for one)...we had a guild of mainly scandiavian and had a big meeting (with all of them sleeping on my floor)
When I played hib I met even more scandinavians. Not a day went by that I didn't run into some one who started speaking danish/sweedish to me.
Here in mid I've only played about 5 hours total and already I've met like 4 or 5 of them guys (it helps that my name is danish). I've met very few scandinavian ppl who are rude off the bat. In my experiance the rudeness comes when a non sweedish/danish speaking person hears 2 of us speaking 'that weird language' and gets pissy about it, yelling about how it's an english server ect...

Well it is the English server and though i can speak more then English i wouldnt do so openly :p

But anyway i'm only rude to people that i know :/ People who msg me for advice etc etc always get civel answers the same as people who talk to me in say

But then i'm not swedish i'm your typical restrained Englishman whos seething with inner hatred which sometimes consumes his entire being.

Other than the usual lair crap, 12 year olds and occasional selfish tossers the only piece of real badness I came across was from a group of Swedes when I was a noob. That said Ive met loads of nice Swedes since so dont reckon its a national trait.

Nicest people I d say are the Danes Imho (Im from UK).

And thanks to all you people who make the effort to speaK English.

I think some people are over sensitiv

as former GM ( taking a break now ) I hade my share of overjumpy people :|

I think buttom line is you generally get what you give. I do not believe that Hibs or Albs are worse than Mids or reverse. You may be unlucky to initially run into some jerks which are in all three realms but chances are if you have a bit patiens youll find there is alot of nice fellas too.

Beg me for gold and ill be a jerk and say no, tell me you`ll dance for me for a coin and i`ll throw you some cash.
