Arcane Siphon, does it work?

Hi all,

I just levelled Jacina's Sash to level 5 and got Arcane Siphon (10% chance not to use power when casting a spell) and have yet to see it work.

Does it actually work? Does it work with insta spells?

Not sure if it works with instas, but it sure does work with normal spells

When it works, you'll get a message like 'xxxx gathers arcane energies from his surroundings!'
It absolutely does work on any spell, even powerless ones or instant abilities - I've had it work with MCL before which was a bit odd.

Not sure what message type it is, but you may have that message switched off in your message window ?

I certainly see it too.

I would suggest JS in any caster template just because of the arcane siphone. Feels like perma casting sometimes, I hardely go oop with a few power pots etc.

I once had the arcane siphon go off when rezzing.. it still uses power though

so.. it does not work for resurrection spells

Combined with croc ring it sure lessens downtime

It works excellently. Sometimes did 5 times in row without power cost. I love it.+

And yes. Works with everything that costs power.

i love healing whit my druid in rvr whit sash sometimes it procs soo meny times in a row

once got like 4 spread heals procced and iv had singles proc like hell too its cool when someone is takeing huge ammount of dmg and can keep em up whitout dumping lots of power
