Apologises to Hibernia

Dear Hibbies,
Our apologies for the damage caused to Dun Dagda and the removal of the Horn of Valhalla, and very nearly Caudlron of Dagda and Merlins Staff. Midgard as a whole did not plan nor did we intend on causing such heartache as was caused this evening. We were however, provoked into such attacks by comments made by a well known member of your realm, Balthazar. His comment infringed upon our raiders pride and honour to the point we were left with no option other than to simply prove him wrong and wreak havoc upon you lovely keep of Dun Dagda and those valiant hibs who came to defend. And I quote taken from the mirc channel #prydwen.stealthers:

<Balth> You can't take relics from hibs your not good enough to do it prime time.

This coming on the back of drubbing we recieved in Dun Scathig on Friday night when 146 hibs came to destroy the 50 defends in Scathig along with a zillion shrooms, we fealt honour bound to reply to such comments. Thus the current Relic status. As far as middies go I'm the biggest fan of Hibernia with its low population and fuzz firbies, but Balth's attitudes left us no other option.

Also hopefully this will liven things up a bit and shake the Relic war back into life, stagnant Relic = boring.

Tis ashame that no one can relic raid mids, as if u do it at prime time or 5pm, always loads to defend, and that little issue of mid zones crashing.

Makes taking relics not a big deal tbh. If ppl cant retake them owning them has little skill involved.

Good raid mids, was kinda hard to really do anything at dagda sadly since the lag was insane for some reason but creds for a fast raid guys.

One question tho: would you have taken the relic (and thereby reducing guards on the other 3 relics) if you knew Odins-frontier could stand more then 50 peeps without crashing ?

Because there has always been some balance in most realms about taking more then 3 relics: Take more and you risk loosing more because of lower amount of guards. While we at the moment know a serious RR on Midgard is pretty much impossible since the frontier will crash under the slightest pressure :/

With that in mind; still good luck on a successfull raid. Sooner or later Im gonna think of an evul plan about taking STR and dropping it accidentially at ATK xD

we actually was gonna sui-drop the last 2 pow relics at apkE, but to many went ld and lost dagda :| would have been nice to view nick's whine if we had succeded in doing it xd

You have to do all of ML8 again if you fail on ML 8.10 so we finished it off then went and took the relic back.
