could someone tell me which port i need open to host an aoe2 game? I am behind a router and the game is showing my internal ip.

You know, AoE is a RTS not an RPG don't ya

Anyway, the MS site doesn't seem to have a definitaive answer for AoE (just too old now I guess) but does have this generic guide for "DirectPlay" games.

Wouldn't mind knowing if it actually worked, in case I feel tempted to try playing across the net meself

it didnt

i unplugged the router and had to play that way - i'll try some more stuff though with the router and i'll let u know if i win
