Just got Golden Spear activated lastnight, so the long walk of levelling it is now to come as most people know, it takes killing gorgons in the ML3 dungeon (I can't enter there yet) or killing Gorgons near Aerus Haven, or in Green Glades. (this is where I will XP it) They are all level 65+ and sometimes BAF, heard on some sites that certain gorgons can also cast (not sure what they cast though) It's said that it takes 86billion XP from level 0 - 10, which is a long time

It's also boring solo, so reason of the post is if anyone would like to XP the golden spear with me, your welcome to join - if your planning to get the spear can also help out if needed.

Any class welcome to join, level 46+ as that is the level requirement for the artifact, I do have a BB but can't run 2 ToA Clients unless my brothers computer is free, so if you have a BB, bring that too

the gorgons near Aerus haven are level 50-54, i.e. mostly orange con, with the odd yellow.

Can solo there perfectly fine, though be warned, they're tough buggers.

Better yet get a sorc and a bot. We took a level 50 gorgon, buffed it up, and let it loose. It killed 6 orange cons before it needed a heal.

As for casting they cast the following:
AF debuff
DOT
lifetaps

All are instant, and uninterruptable. They also parry like mad, hit hard and have a lot of hit points. great pets

ML3 dungeon is ffa. No limitations.
First limited one is ML5.

But gorgons there are con purple, so you need a good group to hunt for them.
if possible join prerequesite groups for ml3.

The ML7 dungion is full of gorgans too. Red con to purple con. All casters(Enchanters)/reavers.

can do 5 levels a day. Thats solo (buffed ofc) on the yellow/oranges near aerus haven. lvl10 in 2 days if you can be arsed, else should take 3-4.

End proc's on weapons help alot

Offering? not as easy as you'd think to get someone to help seing as it takes a long time, nothing in it for the mincer unless they are level 48/49 and in it for XP, or they drop 2-5g a kill+loot, dunno if RoG's yet

Ok thats before they fixed the display on the arti (later levels used to start at like 80% .. same xp to do a level just the display updated less).

Also why use your arti to xp? Go buy a cple of cheap end procs (value 20 will do), shove the arti you want to xp in your 2H slot and xp it without using it = no con loss from leveling.

Seriously though .. duoing the yellows/oranges is really crap xp, anything above these needs a full group really which sucks. Unbuffed solo on gorgons will be total zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, you really need to steal some buffs from someone while you xp this or you will be there a month due to downtime.

But year tbh Gorgon Maidens are the best place to level GS.

Other Gorgons are either way too high level or in area`s most people cant get to without a group.

Slash weapons are best vs maidens as there slash weak, there not that tough, just be ready to heal if you happen to pull a high orange one.

They do slash damage so wont be so bad to an alb class. Averaged 190 a hit on Emma although being an SB with gimpy slash weak armour thats still not really a high damage hit ;p

Get hit for twice that by infils so im used to silly numbers ;p

Was using traitors (level 10) and a 99% long dirk with 20% haste proc, 8% resists or so to slash/thrust/crush/matter
