Anyone tried lotro?

Was just wondering if any of you DAoC fans has tried this game and what you think about it. Seems that people rate it very high..so i was just thinking if i would like this game, if i like DAoC..well i guess i can't really tell untill i try it myself but lets hear what you guys think of this game

Captured the atmosphere nicely. The epic quest makes you feel part of the overall conflict.

Nice looking, good sounds. Decent game.

Currently playing on Evernight, got a lvl25 loremaster

graphics are nice
ingame sounds work well
free expansions quarterly

PVM(the pvp) is still quite because theres not many 50s on the player side

Is there any real pvp in it? (i dont mean that monster fighting/pokemon shit) pretty much anything is better than daoc atm though.
Don't really have the time for WoW either (wife agro) so hoping its not such a massive time sink and playable in the couple of hours i am allowed a week

saw it last day, looked abit interesting, but I don't know pvp there.

you can actually buy a instrument, and make your own songs, using different tones on the buttons

its pretty generic so far, ie boring, hopefully it will pick up as i get higher level.

a boring skilless even bigger and slower grind than daoc.

looks nice though, shame they forgot to put anything in there that is fun.

made me think of daoc where they forgot to put in the mid and hib realm and then found it was numbingly boring and added a single BG type area.

fights seem utterly skilless, you can even see timers on enemies expire so you know when to redo an effect.

positional styles ??? never heared of.

still trying to find something in it that takes skill and not just time.
