Anyone see Predator 2 last night?

It was on channel 5.I really rate that film,tho they say its not as good as the original.Pah! most mk2's are better than the original.
I cite;
alien 2 better than original.
terminator 2 better than...
Most mk 3's on the other hand tend to be complete pants.wotcha say?

Actually I believe its the other way round where most 2s aren't as good as the first but excepts are films like Aliens. Predator 2 is good but not as good as one.

Predator 2 was wank and boring, the best bit is the woman riding the druglord. Oh and did anybody see the alien skull on the rack at the end, the irony is that the predator put the skull of the lone ranger (Bill paxton) underneath it and Bill Paxton plaued Hudson in Aliens, the second best character in the film.
Terminator 2 was no where near as good as the terminator, Aliens was better than Alien (and both of them were far better than the crap special effects crap of the last 2) but Max 2 was better than Max 1

i didn't watch p2 because i've heard how wank it is :/

on the sequals note: mad max2 owns the original. the original was good, especially the early parts, but it's far too sentimental. it's been a while since i've seen it, but i'm sure that at least half the film is about him and his wife, then him crying about his wife getting killed.

And yes, T1 is slightly better than T2.

i still think p2 was good last night,tho popular opinion seems against me hehe.
everyone agrees mm2 was the best,which is all good and proper.

Yes, the 3rd one was really awful.

And as for Mle...Well i'm hardly fan of his, so i would aggree that alot of his films have an air of suckiness around them.

Braveheart was fairly crappy, but when you compare it to similar films...could have been better.
I'm thinking of the original HighLander. Brilliant film, first part set in the scottish place, they could have made Braveheart more like that.

And while i'm tlaking about the HighLander, how shit are its sequals! Such a great film rewarded with blatantly shit follow-ups

And yes, the Lethal Weapon films are only comical in their shiteness.

Er, the Lethal Weapon films were brilliant? Criticising them is kinda like criticising Die Hard. ie Not Right. I'll agree Lethal Weapon 4 was only "OK", but it was saved by having Jet Li in it.

When i saw that there was a rush hour 2 coming out, i thought no way it would be or could be as funny as the first.... proved me wrong, both fantastic films.

Same with American Pie / and American Pie 2..

Lethal Weapon 4, just for the beggining sequence and Jet-Li.

Alien is the original and best in the Alien series. Aliens is good, but its not as tense nor suspenseful, more of a gore fest than anything. Oh and give the last two Alien films a chance, watch them a few times and you will see they are not at all bad, 3 especially is pure class.

Predator and Predator 2 I dont like to compare, they are both as enjoyable as each other.

T1 does own T2.

I seem to think this ones going to split the forum down the middle.

Sequels of good films have a lot to live up to, and if they even manage to be accepted its a good thing.

i went to see the original at the cinema (which really DOES show my age!) unfortunatly at the crucial moment someone at the back of the cinema shouted "it's going to come out of his stomach now!" which kind of spoiled it for me... tho it did make me laugh .
whats your opinion on mad max 1 to mad max 2 tho?
