For some unknown reason I watched some really old re run tonight for a laugh. Ahh the days of flares and mulletts and Jim Bowen

Anywho its back on the small screen from the 17th April on Challenge TV with Dave Spikey(Jerry St Clair Phoenix Nights) as the host

You can't beat a bit of Bully

Always wondered how they managed to split a speedboat between 2 mates though

Always loved a speedboat/caravan being won by someone living in a 20th floor flat.

Aah, nostalgia. It ain't what it used to be. Bullseye was, let's be honest, shit. It was one of those programs that you never watched at the time but has a special place in the "crap stuff we get misty-eyed about" part of your brain; like Catchphrase and The A-Team. *ducks*

Catchphrase and the A-Team were awful, really shit.

Bullseye was possibly the best game show ever made, no, it was the best show ever made, far better than any TV show or film or documentary ever.

Jim Bowen is a god.

You mean it was better than 3-2-1 with Ted Rodgers & Dusty Bin? :twak:

I pity the fool who's never watched an episode of the A-Team. How do you know how to make a rocket launcher (that disables but doesn't kill) out a pram, vacuum cleaner parts, drainpipes and fertiliser if you didn't watch the A-Team? It was like Blue Peter for organised violence.

Hmmm close call. 3-2-1 reminds me of bacon, cheese and tomato sandwiches, don't ask me why it just does.

That'll be much in the same way that that Bob dude who used to do Grandstand occasionally reminds me of cheese and onion toasties.

Ahem, used to watch Bullseye all the time....it rocked. Wasn't as good as Catchphrase or Going for Gold tho.

How can you not like a show that presented 2 men from deepest Birmingham with a boat?
