Lord of the rings, looks like it is going to kick some serious ass, hopefully it will knock the crap Harry pottor from its perch and into the gutter it crawled out from.

I have just seen the latest trailer and I still get goosebumps just wacthing it.

I have heard that the have ALREADY MADE the three films.

They are going to release them just before Xmas 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Yeah, LoTR just seems to have far more appeal than Hairy Potter; though I probably wont see it until several weeks after its release, for the slightest chance of a ticket, heh...

I'm booking my ticket tomorrow - Leicester Square is selling tickets now. I also don't want to be told about what others 'think' about it, I just know it's going to fecking r0ck!
I'm currently reading the book, and am about 2 chapters from the end, I'm not sure if that was a good idea, being that the books are usually 10 times better than the film! But still, it's giving me goose bumps as well :)

About the already made the 3 films, that isn't quite true. What they are doing is filming them back to back, so when the filming of one finished, the filming of two started while the editing and all that shit was going on for the first. I think they are still currently filming part two and will move on to part three as soon as that is finished...

They are coming out every Christmas until 2003 which is cool... Then we'll have the Hobbit to look forward to I guess :clap:

Just seen some of the trailers (Sunday mail had a free CD with LOTR stuff - screensavers, backgrounds etc)

Looks good - gonna wait for the rush to die down before I go tho.
