Question Anyone know the glasgow nightlife well?

Me and four mates are going to Glasgow on monday to see Muse play. We are staying in the Lomond hotel i think its called near the university. Basically none of us know anything about Glasgow and Im wondering if anyone here knows if theres a specific area that the bars and clubs are? or if not if there are any ones in particular that are lots of fun?

If you are staying near the University, there is a street at the back of it called Ashton Lane which is one big collection of pubs and clubs. Assuming you mean Glasgow Uni and not Strathclyde uni =)

If it is Glasgow Uni, you'll also be near to the underground (Hillhead or Kelvingrove stations are at either end of the campus I believe). Takes 10mins to get into the city centre from these =)
