anyone know how to switch voicemail off?

It really bugs me because by the time I actually hear my phone ringing the sodding voicemail kicks in and I cba with messages at the best of times so I just want to can that whole facility.

I'm on orange so if anyone knows if and how I can stop it please do tell, many thanks
