Anyone have a similar computer setup?

Hi, I'm planning on buying AoC once I'm done with my exam assingment, which is in three weeks, and I've ordered a new laptop which I'm going to use for games and 3d assingments.

I'm just wondering if anyone have close to the same hardware setup as my laptop has and if they can tell me how the game runs on their computer?

Intel Core2Duo T9300 2.5GHz 45nm 6MB cache
4GB G.SKILL SO-DIMM 667MHZ CL4 (2x2GB) dual channel
MICROSOFT Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

I could run the game in beta mode on my old stationary, but it didn't run very good on medium settings.

Think I'll be able to run this on high settings?

So I'm guessing nobody has any idea if I can run it on high/very high or not then?

default goes till HIGH

and u will be able to play it there np

I ran it on high with a worse computer than that in the beta.

8800 GTS 320mb
2 gig ram
E6850@3.00ghz

that was at DX9 and the only real problem was slow load times.

I`m running
64X2 Dual Core 2.7
8800 GT 512mb
4GB Ram
Windows XP
and can run it on high settings with no problems.

currently running 3.2ghz Dual Core (AMD) 3072 ram, 8800GT 512mb, windows xp pro - running it on high with no problems can even put literally everything on max (including 16x AA and 16x Anisop filtering) all scalers upto max and it still runs on a stable 12fps, playable but will be crawling in zergs


overall high everything will be fine - max system settings is just suicide unless you've got a high end PC for zerg warfare.

Sounds great now I just need to fix my new(!!) laptop..

It keeps shutting down for no reason.
