Could someone look up what the prices for an Imperial Blue Focus ST170 '05 plate 6,000 miles with "Comfort Pack" and "Custom Pack" should be please ?

(Condition: Immaculate !)

All the web ones don't seem to believe that the old-model Focii were available on '05 plate.

Fanku :)

Glass'

Ford Focus ST170
2.0 Petrol 3-door Hatchback
6 Speed Manual Front Wheel Drive
Year: 2005 05
Mileage: 6,000

Estimated value of your car

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £11350
Average condition: £10200
Below average condition: £9090

That's excluding the packs; so a private sale should at least see the part-exchange "excellent condition" price. However, the fact the new ST is out will make old ST prices drop like whore's knickers, so you may not always get book price for a private sale; at least a dealer will take it for a rough Glass' estimate where as private buyers will be able to pick and choose.

I couldn't sell my old Clio 182 for book price, had to drop it a fair bit to shift it.

I'd get shut of the Vauxhall, and keep the BMW - the latter will always be worth more.

Yes, book prices are shite but it least gives you an indicator or ball park on what a car is worth.

Like I say, my old 182 book value was about £10k - lots of them struggled to sell for more than £9k.

/agree the 323 is a great little car, damn reliable, imo keep it until the it stops being work running, as being a 99 its going to be at/or near base value and probably not worth selling
